Subject: [WinsomeGames] Numbered, Special Edition 1830 Cardgame available to Attendees of the Winsome Choose Some Convention.
To:
Attendees of Dr. Joshua Acosta’s Winsome Choose Some Convention in May 2023 will be allowed to procure a numbered copy of a Special Edition version of Dieter Danziger’s 1830 Cardgame. This very limited edition will be in the usual plastic box with all cards cut and all cubes provided. It will be ready to play right out of the box.
Only 30 numbered copies will be offered, at a cost of $80, paid at the Convention. Registered attendees may reserve a specific number by communicating with Dr. Acosta through the Convention’s website:

Dieter was a superlative designer of railroad games, including the iconic ‘Union vs. Central’ and market driven ‘Locomotive Werks’. A large bear of a man with an infectious smile, he is sorely missed by myself and my Winsome people in the US and in Germany. I doubt that either ‘Union vs. Central” or ‘1830 Cardgame’ will ever be licensed to a large publisher and I hope that this Special Edition meets some of the outstanding demand for this excellent game.
