G Barreto::Jack: será que a Aia deixa o jogador inelegível?
Pelo que entendi das regras, a Aia é imune à habilidade, mas não deixa o seu jogador "inelegível".
Me parece que o mais correto é que, se quiser, por estratégia, vc pode eleger o jogador que está com a Aia, para que a sua carta não tenha nenhum efeito.
Em tempos práticos:
Vc tem dois barões.
O Barão é uma carta baixa e vc acha que vai perder (ou até tem certeza) se for competir com outro jogador.
Vc joga o barão e escolhe a Aia.
Nada acontece e vc continua no jogo.
Me parece estranho vc ser obrigado a escolher vc mesmo caso seja o único elegível e tenha jogado o princípe.
Então, Gustavo, é o meu entendimento, sim.
Aí fui ler aonde li isso e achei um posto do BGG que foi onde li e o cara citou as regras oficiais, então vou copiar aqui (em inglês):
From the rules, page 20:
"If all players other than the player whose turn it is are protected by Susannah [the Handmaid], the player must choose him- or herself if possible."
The only real situation where you will have to "hurt" yourself is when you play the Prince, which may force you into discarding your own hand. Otherwise, the other cards will do nothing when played against a full set of Handmaids.
Here are the possible ramifications:
1 Guard
Rules, page 23: "If all other players still in the round are protected by the Handmaid, this card does nothing."
2 Priest
I guess, technically, you choose yourself here and look at your own card. In effect, this card does nothing.
3 Baron
Rules, page 21: "If all other players in the round are protected by the Handmaid, this card does nothing."
4 Handmaid
Not relevant.
5 Prince
Rules, page 19: "If all other players are protected by the Handmaid, you must choose yourself."
6 King
Rules, page 18: "If all other players in the round are protected by the Handmaid, this card does nothing."
7 Countess
Not relevant.
8 Princess
Not relevant.
